This is how contagious these creative and playful planter tutorials are, when the gardening bug meets the DIY bug in me.

Plant containers can add so much beauty and flair to a garden. The good news is, you do not have to go out and buy 50 planters. If you look around with an open mind, you will see endless possibilities to create unique planters from up-cycled and re-purposed objects and materials.

1,2,3.  Recycled tires! You can  stack them up,  hang them in a tree, or cut them into  flower shape as a lotus planter.

4 . Just a little fearless imagination, we have these giant parrots made from tires!

5,6,7,8. Things from our wardrobe!

Gardeners always have plenty of used hats, colorful rain bootsshoe organizers, and cute happy purses. Just remember to line the hats and purses with plastic, and add drain holes to all these planters.

9, 10, 11, 12. Our kitchens have a lot of planters in disguise!

Vintage tea tins, colorful colander, misc cookware, and even coconut shells can all become planters!
