Dracaena sanderiana is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae also known as Dracaena braunii. Common names include Sander's dracaena, ribbon dracaena, lucky bamboo, curly bamboo, Chinese water bamboo, Goddess of Mercy's plant, Belgian evergreen, and ribbon plant. Keeping lucky bamboo inside houses and business places is believed to bring happiness and prosperity, and this belief has promoted sales of lucky bamboo shoots grown in decorative pots. The plant has become the most popular indoor plant in certain parts of India, where the plants are usually imported from China and Taiwan.  

Vinca (Catharanthus roseus) an excellent selection if you have little time to tend your garden. Useful in borders, flowerbeds, rock gardens and containers, the vinca flower provides instant color wherever it grows. Plant care: Pull up any weeds growing around the vinca. Clear any debris, such as fallen leaves, twigs or rocks from the ground. Spread a 1- to 2-inch layer of mulch around the plants with a trowel or garden fork.
