M.T Rajen's Pooncholai introduced a sub brand two years back, calling it HARITH-THARANG, tagging it 'a bond that grow's. The concept came by, when they thought gifting a plant instead of flowers would seem like a better idea, as flowers fade and go, but a plant grows with you. That's where the inspiration for the tagline came too. Having launched a concept, Rashmi decided to take it a step further and make it an exclusive plant s that grow in Chennai's climatic conditions. She soon evolved into a full-fledged nursery-boutique with fancy plant pots, fertizers, and manure, fancy garden accessories and other things you need in order to ensure the plant's longevity.

Harith-Tharang, which means green wave in Sanskrit, ensures that they handpick healthy and strong plants only. They take care in the presentation of the plants by arranging them in pots that match the buyers taste perfectly. These gifts are beautiful and long lasting. They make charming home décor pieces and add a touch of forever thus making very thoughtful gifts. The boutique showcases indoor and ranging from the exotic to the exquisite and 'foliage to flowering'.
